Our aim is simple: explain topical ingredients in plain language, transcribe product facts directly from the label, and help readers make informed choices. Content is compiled and reviewed for accuracy by the KeraFirm Pro Research Team — a group focused on nail and skin-care research. We are not a medical provider, and our content is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Ingredient information on this site is transcribed directly from the photographed KeraFirm Pro label. Where we describe an ingredient, we describe its traditional or general use rather than making medical claims, and we cite a single identifiable source for each one — a named paper indexed in PubMed, or a page published by a government health body such as the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements or the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. We do not cite search-results pages, because a list of results cannot support a specific statement. We update pages as formulas or information change.
This happens more often than shoppers expect, and KeraFirm Pro is an example. The brand’s promotional material and vendor reference list name manuka, clove bud, camphor, menthol, walnut and chia; none of those six appears on the printed ingredient statement of the bottle. Our rule in that situation is fixed: the printed panel wins, we say plainly that the marketing goes further than the label, and we do not describe the extra botanicals as ingredients. The same rule applies to prices — we publish the totals shown at the official checkout, not the comparison figures used to calculate a saving.
